Celebratin’ Patch 2.2 ‘n th’ First Look at Th’ Isle o’ Madness
Gicaforta, MasculineBulldog and BloodDrunk007 good mateys ‘n honourable hands in th’ Blood Warriors Guild ‘n their crew ‘ave found new bootey. Jus’ t’ bridge th’ time ’til th’ Isle o’ Madness be released. Aye, ye be hearin’ correctly – new content from Th’ Isle o’ Madness. Find it further below. But first:
Celebratin’ th’ 2.2 patch o’ Th’ Elder Scrolls Legends that fixes th’ issue wit’ th’ OTK combo o’ Sweetroll, Dragon Aspect ‘n Rin’ o’ Namira. Look at th’ decklist.
We be pretty sure this will one day be a thousand doubloon riddle in trivia: Durin’ wha’ year ‘n month was th’ Sweetroll OTK deck a successful strategy t’ fight ‘n why?
Let this video be a reminder t’ us all.
But ye ‘ave been waitin’ fer it long enough – let’s look at th’ new content… 😉
*drumroll* (yes, not sweet roll)
GicaForta – The Mad
Th’ legend hisself. Fer a cost o’ 4 ye get a powerful body t’ fight th’ world. Gicaforta, Th’ Mad, puts 5 bottles o’ rum t’ yer hand. Hooray! When ye drink them all, both lanes are filled wit’ Savage Mateys Thirsty fer Booty.
Th’ 5/5 body fer 4 be already a mighty powerful cap’n, but once ye finish th’ rum ye get a Waves o’ th’ Fallen fer free, or two Bone Colossus’ or two Imperial Reinforcements.
Depends a wee bit on how ye can deal wit’ th’ rum in yer brain ‘n blood.
If ye see them double by now, don’t be sad. Just enjoy th’ beauty o’ th’ mad ‘n th’ pirate walkin’ hand in hand.
GicaForta – The Pirate
This 3-cost Pirate loots an item from yer opponents deck. Clearly provides great card advantage when fightin’ th’ enemy. Also puts a nice ‘n attractive 2/1 body on board. Pretty similar t’ th’ Goblin Skulk but if ye get a lucky draw fer a Dawnbreaker, fightin’ those skeleton hoards ain’t as bad anymore. Hooray!
‘n finally, th’ last reveal o’ today.
Captain GicaForta’s Pirate Ship
Captain GicaForta’s Pirate Ship – Th’ title alone be so long ‘n ’tis hard t’ pronounce. Remember it wit’ all th’ rum, be difficult. Also, if all th’ rum caused yer fingers t’ go shaky ‘n ye be havin’ trouble hittin’ yer creatures ‘n pointin’ ‘n draggin’ them along t’ th’ enemy then this fix be fer ye. A wee celebration o’ th’ offset issue bein’ fixed. Hooray!
The Footprint – Important – Please Read On
This is a fun article. Not meaning to hurt anyone’s feelings. Just keeping in mind, that the power of humor can help you through some shaky times in life. Thanks to GicaForta, MasculineBulldog and BloodDrunk007 for being good sports and keeping the spirits high!
An even bigger shout-out and a huge thanks to Sparkypants and Bethesda for getting this next patch out quickly. Just one month after launch of the completely new client the game is now back at a state where it can excel other strategy card games in so many ways. I am still stunned by looking at all the new premium cards – just beautiful. Really wanna craft Divine Fervor as a premium now.
More content is needed, for sure. And it’s coming. Bethesda’s brand manager for The Elder Scrolls Legends (sorry, this is embarrassing, but I keep forgetting his name – please remind me, if you know), hinted two weeks ago on their Twitch stream, that they will be starting to leak more details about the next story expansion Isle of Madness in November 2018. CVH even mentioned it might be a bit earlier. So, this blog article obviously wasn’t it. As much as it would have liked to be. But the cards from above are just for fun, to lighten the spirits. They are not sanctioned by Bethesda and I hope you are not mad for being tricked into thinking tesl.blog would be the first to release a preview of new content. Not now anyways ;)…
